曖昧な包み
他との差異化に意義を持つ、ファッションアイテムや商品パッケージなどに象徴される「包み」の存在に対して、等しくフェルトで覆い、ぼかすことにより、繋がれる接点を作り出します。
等しくフェルトで覆うことは、内包するものの個別性は消さずに残しながらも曖昧になります。覆う行為は加えることですが、結果的にぼかされた内包物は引き算的な効果が生まれます。それは、大地に雪が覆われるように、時が経ち埃が積もるように、遠くの景色は白んでいるように、個々が曖昧になった一体の景色が現れます。
Ambiguous wraps
The aim is to find a connection between the existence of "Wrapping" symbolized by fashion items and product packaging, which have significance in differentiating themselves from others, and by covering and blurring them equally with felt.
Covering everything equally with felt obscures the individuality of the things contained within while leaving them intact. The act of covering with felt is an addition, but the resulting blurred inclusions create a subtractive effect. It creates a unified landscape in which the individual parts are obscured, like the earth covered in snow, dust accumulating over time, or a distant landscape turning white.
